FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
The process is simple and easy: All you need to do is book a time on my calendar, show up to the session, and I will take care of the rest. You will get all the information you need before your headshot session including directions to the studio, and tips on what to wear and how to prepare. On the day of, I pose you and find the right angles that showcase your face in the best possible light. Afterwards, we will sit down and review the photos from the session where we can pick together the best looks to edit.
What do I wear?
I send out an email with some tips for your headshot before the session. One major thing is to avoid wearing white unless you're layering it. Also, avoid distracting patterns, we want to make sure the focus is on your face. You are always welcome to give me a call at 385-243-0340 before your headshot so we can discuss in more detail!
Are the photos I'm receiving high-resolution?
Yes! I want to make sure you have a high-quality photo that you can use on any social media platform and your website. Since you will be looking for high-quality, we also want your photo to be high-quality. All edited images will have the option to download in full-resolution and web-size.
I want something a little more creative, can you do that?
Certainly! I enjoy infusing creativity into headshots. If the idea of plain backdrops doesn't appeal to you, we can explore environmental headshots. This involves utilizing outdoor settings or finding a distinctive spot within your office. While environmental headshots require a bit more planning, they have the potential to truly set you apart. If you are looking for more than just a couple of headshots, let's chat about doing a branding shoot instead for more options!
